Gua sha, without having to learn the technique

Traditional gua sha works — if you do it right. Most people press too hard, move in the wrong direction, and quit after two weeks.

Contour takes that work off your hands. A heated scraping plate with micro-vibration and LED light that makes the movement for you.

What it does

• Heat (up to 45 °C) — relaxes the muscles and softens the skin
• Micro-vibration — stimulates circulation and lymphatic drainage
• Red light — for firmness and fine lines
• Blue light — for congested, blemish-prone skin

Where to use it

Face, jaw, neck and shoulders. Also excellent on tight shoulders after a day at the laptop — not glamorous, but it's the thing people end up using it for most.

Your ritual

1. Apply plenty of serum or oil to the skin
2. Switch on and select your setting
3. Move in slow, upward strokes, outwards
4. Five to ten minutes
