Our Story
Why we exist
Light therapy isn't new. Dermatologists and estheticians have used it for decades. What is new: the technology now fits in a device that sits on your bathroom shelf.
And yet most women still pay €75 to €120 per session in a salon — and need eight to twelve of them before anything shows. That's over a thousand euros for a treatment you could just as easily do at home, in your own time, sans rendez-vous.
That gap is our entire reason for existing.
What we select for
There is a great deal of beauty tech on the market, and honestly, most of it is a small light in a plastic shell. We look at three things:
- Specified wavelengths. Red light at 633 nm and near-infrared at 830 nm are the wavelengths the research was actually done on. If a device doesn't print a nanometre figure on the box, it doesn't make our selection.
- Wearability. The best device is the one you actually use every day. Hands-free and comfortable beats technically superior and awkward, every single time.
- Honest expectations. Light therapy works slowly and cumulatively. Anyone promising you a different face within a week is selling you something other than what they say.
What we don't do
We make no medical claims. Our devices are cosmetic skincare products, not medical devices. They cure nothing. They support your skin — provided you use them consistently.
We also don't post before-and-after images built out of lighting and filters. Any results you see on this site come from real customers.
Le rituel
Everything we sell is designed around one idea: a small ritual you keep, rather than a big gesture you abandon. Ten minutes with your eyes closed. Twenty minutes while you read. That's the whole thing.
Questions?
We're a small team and we read every email ourselves. Do get in touch — including if you're unsure whether a device suits your skin. We'd far rather give you an honest reason not to buy than process a return.
